Decluttering your home and life
Let’s face it modern life can be hectic and at times it can feel like your whole life is getting just a little bit overwhelming. Sometimes something as simple as decluttering can clear not only your space but also your mind.
By focusing on a new streamlined lifestyle you’ll find that you’re better able to focus on the things that mean the most to you. So how can you have a clear uncluttered life? Well with a few practical steps you might be able to truly live clutter free.
Clear the decks
If you spend time in a cluttered environment it can seep into other areas of your life. By living in an organised and tidy space it gives you time to focus on other things and makes everyday chores like tidying up far easier.
So start by going through every possession and working out not only what you actually use but also what matters in your life. This doesn’t mean chucking out everything that doesn’t have a practical use but it should mean something important to you. So while realistically you’re not going to wear that top that has sat in your wardrobe for years if you feel genuinely upset at the thought of losing an item then making some space for it is fine and in fact important – just don’t do that with everything.
