Mother’s day 26th March 2017
Mother’s day is still a few weeks away, but we like to be organised and provide you with some Mother’s Day Gift ideas. In case you have missed out on Valentine’s day it’s even more important to get Mother’s Day sorted! A homemade card and present from the children or grandchildren is always a lovely thought. Combined with a voucher or present it becomes the perfect gift. Not to forget the addition of a lovely lie in for a mum followed by breakfast in bed. Whatever the mum in question tells you she will enjoy some attention on the day!
6 o’clock drink – Gin lovers present
For a Mum that likes G&T these Gin Gift set may be a nice present.
Here are some present ideas for a bit of pampering. The perfume “Eccentric Molecules” available from Liberty is a very unique fragrance that smells different yet no less delicious on every wearer.
Charlotte Tilbury’s “Quick ‘N’ Easy Natural Glowing Look” a quick and easy make up bag ideal for a busy mum.
Some “Me-Time” presents
Something most mums don’t have a lot of is time for themselves. Either while the children are little and need attention 24/7 or when returning to work Mum’s are always busy. A gift for some “Me-time” will be very appreciated. Be aware though this needs to come with a plan who looking after the kids!
Spa – pick a local spa and get a nice spa day voucher ideally to take a friend as well. A girly Spa day away from nappies or homework can be pure bliss. Alternatively a massage or a nice facial in a nice beauty salon is also a lovely treat.
Candle Making – Jo Loves (the new brand by Jo Malone) offers some very unique experiences. The “Fragrance Tapas Bar” or “The Candle Shot Studio” make a great day out in London with a friend for a Jo Malone fan.
A new skill – whether it is Biscuit decorating, Chocolate Making, Cocktail Making lesson, a coaching session or a crafty activity the list is long. Some time out to do something new and fun or to return to an old hobby is a real treat for a busy mum.
Someone to do the jobs – often all a mum wants is some time. Time to read a book, have a bath or go out. But while the list of jobs is never ending – dry cleaning needs picking up, insurance need renewing, kids party need organising – it is hard to relax. So getting someone else to do it and giving a busy mum the present of time may well be exactly what she needs.
And don’t forget – The Flowers
If you don’t have a good florist nearby or need to send a gift, here are some luxuious flower gifts that a mum that likes flowers will love.
The Hat Box from Jane Packer from £55 or a beautiful bouquet from Appleyard from £ 34.99. A unusual alternative to flowers is a tree! The Present Tree has a tree for every occasion. We especially like the “Tree Hugs”
