Tash has been part of the Hour Hands family for the past six years so today, we’re honouring Tash and her bookkeeping skills! 

More about Tash

Tash started working at Hour Hands six years ago this month in 2018. She started out as a bookkeeping assistant and has progressed over time to holding the lofty title of Bookkeeping Manager. 

Her promotion is well deserved after delivering exemplary support to our clients and achieving ICB Level 3. The ICB are professional qualifications issued by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers and achieving level 3 proves that Tash really does know bookkeeping inside out!  The qualifications were issued based on Tash’s practical experience plus an outstanding pass rate of 89% for:

• Level 2 Certificate in Bookkeeping,
• Level 3 Certificate in Bookkeeping & Accounts
• Level 3 Diploma in Payroll Management

“I started as a bookkeeping assistant and then over time, I became more involved in VAT returns and payroll. I went on maternity leave in March 2021, eventually returning as Bookkeeping Manager and overseeing the operations side of the business, undertaking tasks such as making sure VAT returns were filed and payrolls were filed. Today, I lead client meetings with new and existing clients – and I run management accounts too.”

I initially joined Hour Hands as I wanted to regain my identity – I became a Mum during my final year at university so didn’t have this opportunity earlier in my career.
