Christine joins the NBWA judging panel!
Exciting news! Our very own founder and MD, Christine Frith, has joined the NBWA judging panel!
Super! We hear you cry – but what is the NBWA and why is Christine now a part of it? Let us explain.
What is the NBWA?
The National Business Women Awards (NBWA) raises the profile of industrious, hardworking and enterprising women. 22 categories make up the award, which are carefully chosen to allow any successful business in the UK to enter these prestigious awards. With everything from Best New Business and Community Champion to Influencer of the Year and International Woman’s Award, women from across the broad business spectrum will be able to find a category that resonates with them to enter.
There’s never been a better time to start getting together your evidence and earning yourself a reward for your fantastic efforts over the last year.
Congratulations Christine!
Christine is perfectly placed to judge the NBWA awards as last year, she won one herself!
National Business Women’s Awards 2023 – WINNER! Business Woman of the Year
It was an exciting win for Christine that raised her profile and showcased the wonderful Hour Hands business.
“I am so proud to have won this award but it was really a team effort. Together we have built up the business and winning was a form of validation of everyone’s hard work. I was so happy that the Hour Hands team was there on the night as it is this group of wonderful women that make Hour Hands such a fantastic business. We had a great evening celebrating and it was very cool to be up on stage.” Christine
Christine is a strong advocate for women and for flexible working, believing that it fosters positive energy and smart working practices. We know that she will use this passion in her judging and help promote other successful women in business.
Keen to enter an award yourself?
Christines’ advice “Go for it! It’s worth taking the time to enter and make sure you tell a compelling story. As judges, we want to read about the ‘why’ – why you made that decision and the impact it had. Don’t worry if it’s not an entirely positive story either, how you overcome obstacles is part of being a business woman.”
The finalists for the 2024 Business Woman of the Year awards have now been announced and we’re looking forward to the Grand Finale to be held in London on 25th October.
Watch out for entries opening for 2025 – and enter an award. You’ll reap lots of benefits by entering the award as it makes you collate information and really think about what makes you and your business so successful.
Good luck!
