Please join us in welcoming Sarangi to the team as a Management Accountant. Here’s a little bit about her, in her own words.

Introducing Sarangi

Hello. I’m Sarangi, a qualified Management Accountant with over 14 years experience in finance and accounting.  I’m CIMA qualified and hold an MBA from the University of Bedfordshire, majoring in business administration. My specialisms are expense management, change management and financial reporting.

During my career, I have gained experience in team management, financial reporting and management accounting, handling internal (FRCF) and external audits. 

I joined Hour Hands back in January. It is amazing to work with Christine and the team, they are all so friendly. I enjoy the strong portfolio of clients across different industries, all with so much potential for growth, and I really like working with clients on site.

Outside of work, I’m a mother. I struggled to find the right job when I first came to the UK as I couldn’t work full time whilst taking care of my son. Hour Hands offered me both the job and the flexibility I always wanted: I’m grateful for that. 

In my free time, I like to read books, cook traditional Sri Lankan food, listen to classical music and play violin. Most of all, I enjoy playing with my son.
